Film photography 2011 More of less please... During this “christmassy” time of year I find the words “less is more” ringing through my ears more than ever. There is so much spending on irrelevant things going on. Gluttony and greed are words that spring to mind, and those words are bouncing around in my head giving me a migraine! It is a very merry time of squandering and I feel a little sick. The expectations that people have of receiving gifts are so huge. It’s a money spending, taking time of year. It’s that time of year where we teach our children a want for materialistic junk, because God forbid we do not show our love through materialism. Whatever happened to showing our love through humble gestures and actions, every day of the year? I see very little of that these days...
